Standard Market Price
The standard market price is the price that would be achieved in sales of the same or similar property, or in the provision of the same or similar service in normal commercial dealings domestically as of the valuation date. In cases where realized prices (purchase prices) cannot be determined for the standard market price, the asset is valued at market value. Fair value does not place as much emphasis on general market conditions but instead focuses on ensuring the price is fair for both parties and corresponds to their individual needs and objectives. -
I Am Selling the Company
Market Value is a value determined based on a transaction between a willing seller and an impartial buyer on the open market. Market Value is derived from the free market price where both parties to the transaction are willing to trade. This value represents the amount the seller would achieve on the open market. -
I Am Buying the Company
Investment value, or subjective value in the context of a business acquisition, represents the specific value that a business holds for a particular investor based on their individual expectations, strategic goals, and the potential to leverage synergistic effects. This value differs from the objective market value because it takes into account the unique conditions and potential returns that a specific buyer may gain from the acquisition.
