1. Creating an Order
1.1. Company Selection
The first step is to find the company you want to value. You will need the Company ID (ICO) and knowledge of the main business activity.
We load company data directly from the business entity registry, so we also pre-select relevant CZ-NACE codes for you. This makes it easier to select the main activity and simplifies the entire process.
1.2. Product Selection via Guide
Through several questions with selectable answers, we will help you choose the right product for your current needs. Once you reach the product you need, simply select it (click the Select
button) to start your order.
1.3. Contact Details
For invoicing and communication regarding the expert opinion, we will need your contact details (name, email, and phone number).
After submitting the order, we will create an account for you and log you in so that you can upload the required documents.
If you prefer the traditional login method, you can create a password in account management after logging in or using the password recovery form.
You can then log in either using a password or continue using login links.
1.4. Valuation Specification
1.4.1. Valuation Date
A valuation is always prepared as of a specific date. We can handle not only full years, but any date you need.
- For inheritance proceedings, it is the date of death.
- For divorce proceedings, it is the date the divorce judgment becomes legally effective.
- For comprehensive valuation and minimum value, it is usually December 31 of the given year, or any other date for which you have financial statements available.
1.4.2. Number of Years of Financial Statements
If the company has been in existence for more than 5 years, you will be able to choose the number of years to include in the supporting documents. Specifically, you can choose between 3 and 5 years. The longer the period, the more accurate the company value.
For companies younger than 3 years, this option is not available.
1.4.3. Share to be Valued
You can specify what share needs to be valued. The default value is 100% (entire company). Values can be entered in percentages or fractions.
1.5. Billing Details
In the next step, you can choose whether to send the invoice to the company being valued or to different billing details.
For simplification, the details can be pre-filled by entering a Company ID (ICO).
1.6. Order Summary
As the final step in the order, we will display a summary. Here you can also choose the payment type:
- bank transfer
- GoPay payment gateway (card payment, Apple Pay, and Google Pay)
If you have a promotional (discount) code, you can apply it here.
After review, you can submit the order.
2. Submitting Documents for Expert Opinion Preparation
2.1. Uploading Financial Statements in XML/PDF
For the most accurate valuation, we need to know the company's financial results for the last 5 years before the valuation date. You can upload statements in XML format, which is used for submitting financial statements to the Financial Administration through the My Taxes portal.
Most modern accounting systems support export of these XML files, and we have prepared a page with detailed information on how to do this.
If you do not have access to statements in XML format, you can also use standard PDF files.
2.2. Additional Information
There is information that cannot be extracted from financial statements. To calculate your company's value as accurately as possible, it needs to be provided in this step.
2.3. Rating
If a product with a rating was selected, you can fill out a short questionnaire based on which we will prepare the rating. Not only will you learn more about the company, but thanks to this information, we are able to determine the company's value more accurately.
2.4. Submitting Valuation for Processing
Once you have completed all the necessary steps, you can submit the documents for processing using the Submit documents for review and processing
button.
3. Document Review
In this phase, we check whether the documents are in order. Whether assets/liabilities balance and other statement requirements are met.
If everything is in order, we begin preparing the expert opinion. Otherwise, we will contact you with a request for supplementary information.
4. Expert Opinion Processing
Once the documents are in order, our business valuation specialist will begin working on your expert opinion.
Depending on the selected product, you will receive the completed expert opinion within 1 to 3 business days.
Our expert opinions are digitally signed, which allows anyone to verify that the document originates from us and has not been altered. We use certificates from PostSignum. You can verify the signed document using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader application.
5. Consultation
If you are interested in more information about our expert opinions, we offer a discounted hourly rate (according to the current price list). With the Comprehensive Business Valuation, you also receive 30 minutes of free consultation included in the price.
